Phnom Penh welcomed me with open arms, revealing a city teeming with cultural wonders and historical significance. On the first day, I marveled at the grandeur of the Royal Palace, with its intricate architecture and serene surroundings. The afternoon led me to the thought-provoking Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, where I gained a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s past. The second day took me to the vibrant Central Market, where I indulged in the vibrant atmosphere and explored an array of local treasures. I ended my trip by visiting the picturesque riverside promenade, taking in the mesmerizing views of the Mekong River and finding solace in the serene ambiance of Wat Phnom. Phnom Penh left an indelible impression on me, blending its rich heritage with the warmth of its people.
